Everyone loved it! We will definitely be coming back again. We have been coming to Concan and the Frio every summer for the past 10 years and we don't plan to change. We are making plans now for our 2009 trip. It will probably be the last week of July and we will be paying you a visit for at least a meal on one of the nights. Two couples came to The Feed Lot Saturday morning and asked who were the owners. We told them, Leonard and Suzanne Bludworth. We met them and then they asked who was doing the cooking, [ they wanted to hire the cook ]. We told them "we do, the owners..."

These folks own a steak house in Houston, and their comments were, "The place is clean, [ the first thing we look for in a restaurant], it's also cute and the food is excellent, really good burgers, chicken fried steak, and shrimp. We'll be back."

Leakey Feedlot has the best cheeseburger I have ever had, just like my mom made it for me when I was growing up!! My husband is crazy about the chicken fried ribeye and OMG, those awesome mashed potatoes! Loved your place and can't wait to see live music there!

Great Grub is right! The grilled shrimp is my favorite. My father likes the fried catfish and the ribeye steaks. And if you haven't, you need to try the Chicken Fried Ribeye at least once.
